Delivery Information

Do you Deliver?

Yes, we offer door-to-door deliveries nationwide, within national courier serviceable zones. If unsure if we ship to your location, please contact us.

How much is Delivery?

For orders that do not qualify for free delivery:

  • We have a local rate (for orders delivered in CPT & JHB) and a National Rate for the rest of South Africa.

How do I get Free Delivery?

Simply increase your order value to R1400 or more and the free delivery option will automatically be added.

Do you have a Minimum Order Value?

Due to the use of specialised insulated packaging that ensures meals remain frozen during transit, we have implemented a minimum order value of R750. This helps us cover packaging costs and maintain product quality. Please read our Shipping Policy for up to date information HERE

Which Areas Do you Deliver To?

We deliver throughout South Africa within national courier serviceable zones. Please read our Shipping Policy for up to date information HERE

What are your Delivery Times?

Local: (JHB & CPT) Orders received by 8 AM - Same Day Delivery available.

National: Order by 12 PM Monday to ship same week (Mon/Tue dispatch). National Orders placed after the weekly cut-off will be processed the following week to align with our shipping schedule.

Regional Delivery

  • Areas: All South African regions outside of recognised urban and main centres and within national courier serviceable zones.
  • IMPORTANT — Cut-off Time: To avoid any order being delayed in transit over a weekend, we only ship on Mondays. Orders received on or before 10:00 on a MONDAY ship same day. Orders received after the aforementioned cut-off ship the following Monday.
  • Dispatch Days: Mondays (excl. Public Holidays)
  • Delivery ETA: 3–5 business days

How will I know when to expect my Order?

You will receive tracking information upon dispatch to monitor and plan for your delivery.

Do you provide Same Day Deliveries?

Yes. For local (Cape Town and Johannesburg and surrounds), we are able to offer same day delivery services. National deliveries may take up to 72 hours. Regional deliveries may take up to 120 hours. Please read our Shipping Policy for up to date information HERE

Can I reserve a preferred Date and Time?

Unfortunately not. As we make use of independent 3rd party courier companies, delivery will be subject to their delivery schedules and times.

Can I reschedule a Delivery Time slot?

Yes, subject to any request for an alternative delivery date needing to reach us before a shipment has shipped.

NOTE: Once your order has been dispatched, any request or instruction made by you to the courier to change the shipping address, redirect, or reroute the package is done solely at your own risk. We are not liable for any spoilage, damage, or loss of product resulting from such changes.

How are shipped products kept frozen?

Local (Same-Day) Orders are delivered frozen using insulated cooler bags. On receipt these must be stored in a freezer immediately. We do not guarantee product quality if left unrefrigerated after delivery.

National Orders ship in specialised insulated containers, guaranteed to keep products frozen for up to 72hrs. If we cannot meet the delivery in 72hrs, we will replace your order at no cost, or refund you at our discretion.

Regional Orders ship in specialised insulated containers, guaranteed to keep products frozen for up to 120hrs. If we cannot meet the delivery in 120hrs, we will replace your order at no cost, or refund you at our discretion.

Can I mix and match Large & Small Meals in my order?

Yes you can. Provided the minimum order value is met, we will look to accommodate all mixed orders.

In rare circumstances, we may contact you with a request to amend the quantities to better fit the available shipping cartons and to ensure the safe shipment of your order.

Please note: Orders must be shipped in full cartons of 24 meals to maintain food safety and packaging integrity. If your order is below 24 items, or exceeds 24 items but cannot be shipped safely due to temperature control or carton configuration limits, we reserve the right to:

(i) Cancel and fully refund your order, or

(ii) Offer you the option to adjust your order to meet the minimum of 24 meals or another safe multiple thereof, or

(iii) Provide a store credit (or refund at our discretion) for any excess items that cannot be safely shipped.

How many Meals fit in a Shipping Carton?

To ensure efficient shipping and reduce packaging waste, we use two carton sizes for frozen meal orders:

 - Large Carton: Holds up to 24 large-size meals.

 - Small Carton: Holds up to 24 small-size meals.

For orders slightly exceeding carton limits, we may contact you to suggest adjustments. For example, if you order 25 meals, we may suggest adjusting the order quantity to optimise packaging before shipping.

In-Store Collections

Do you offer Store Pick Up?

Yes we do. Simply order online and select Store Pickup. Note - Only available at our Somerset West Head Office.

When will my Online Order be ready for Store Pick up?

Orders are packed and ready for collection typically within 24 hours. You will be notified when your order is ready.

Is there a cost for Store Pick ups?

No - Store Pick ups are Free.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

What are the Portion Sizes?

We currently have 2 portion sizes:

  • Small (Single Serving) - 300g
  • Large (Double Serving) - 700g
Do all Meals come with a Side?

Other than the Beef Lasagne and Chicken Pot Pie, all meals come with a side included for extra value and convenience.

What is the Ratio of Meal to Side?

Meals containing a Side, are generally portioned 20% Side and 80% Meal.

What is the Shelf-Life of your Product?

Forever Frozen meals have a Best Before Shelf-Life of 12 months from date of manufacture. We achieve this by using a combination of blast-freezing, plus high barrier lidding film and aluminium containers.

Are there any Preservatives or similar in your meals?

Absolutely not. All our products are made with whole and natural foods. We do not use any preservatives, "E-Numbers", fillers or bulking agents.

How do I know what Allergens may be present?

Each product lists it allergens on the back of the sleeve on this website under the section Allergens. If in doubt contact us.

How are the meals frozen?

Great question! We lock in all the goodness and flavour using a special blast freezer process, that rapidly freezes the products to below -40° C.

Where do you source your Ingredients from?

We source and support local suppliers and farmers and businesses that share our ethical and sustainable approach to best business practices.

Is your product packaging Recyclable?

Yes. The container, sleeve and film are all recyclable.

Are your meals Halaal?

Our range of Frozen Meals are not certified Halaal.

HEATING & PREPARATION

How can I Heat the Product?

The majority of our products can be heated in an Oven, Air Fryer or Microwave. We do not recommend Microwave for the Chicken Pot Pie.

Are you Meals suitable for Air Frying?

Yes indeed. Follow the heating instructions on the back of the product sleeve for more information.

Do I have to take off the clear film first?

Other than for Air Fry, the clear film we use is oven and microwave safe. Follow the heating instructions on the back of each product for more information.

Can I Microwave the Aluminium Container?

Yes, aluminium containers are safe in modern microwaves. Ensure the product is in the middle of the microwave and not touching the sides. If in doubt, consult the owners manual of your microwave.

What method is best for Heating the meals?

We recommend Oven, especially for meals that need to brown, crisp or melt (i.e. cheese on the Lasagne).

Do I have to Thaw out the products first?

Other than Microwave, where it is recommended to thaw out the products completely, one can Oven and/or Air Fry the products from frozen.
